What is an invisible CAPTCHA?
Definition
An invisible CAPTCHA runs its check without asking the visitor to click or solve anything. It scores or tests the session in the background and hands back a token.
How it works
- The page binds the check to a button or runs it in code.
- The provider scores or tests the session in the background.
- A token returns to the page, and your server verifies it as usual.
Where it matters
- Forms where any visible step costs conversions.
- Invisible does not mean unseen: Google's invisible reCAPTCHA still shows a badge, and its placement is set with the data-badge attribute.
In CaptchaKit
CaptchaKit is a visible challenge. The visitor plays a short game, and there is an accessible check for those who cannot.
Questions
